Times are ever changing. The seasons, technology, society, politics, and life, to name a few. But one thing changes not, and that is God Almighty. We must remember that no matter how bleak the circumstances, rough the road, or dim the light, God is still in control. Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
Strong Christians make strong churches, and strong churches make a strong nation. Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
We can turn to wise men, pleasurable ideology, or a charismatic government to guide, protect, and support us, but all will fail eventually. Nothing sustains like the love of God. Nothing protects like the hand of God. Nothing provides like the faithfulness of God. Psalm 121:1–2 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
Where is your hope today? Are you trusting in your government? Are you staking your future in a political party or candidate. These may keep you for a while, but Christ can keep you for eternity. Do you know Christ as your personal Savior? If not, follow this link.
